In April 2021, we launched our latest initiative that aims to provide a platform for micro SMEs to be able to sell their products digitally and expand to new markets. We call it Kaya Halal Market, an online supermarket for curated halal goods.
After 6 months of delivering various locally-made food and beverages products to our consumers’ doors, Kaya Halal Market managed to get its first investor in October 2021. Such investment was driven by our mission to help micro-businesses develop the market and penetrate the digital world, allowing Kaya Halal Market to sell their products as well as provide them with marketing strategies. Moreover, this endeavor will foresee profit-sharing, creation of job opportunities and an upgrade to production tools for these micro-businesses.
